During our vacation, several days of bad weather forced me to sketch from the leeward side of our balcony. The overcast lighting and indistinct shadowing were changing between warm and cool with the moving cloud cover. With howling balcony rails some very windy plein air pencil and watercolor sketches on 5.5″x7.5″ 90lb. arches cold press home made in a sketchbook.
